Your data means 'your' data

Once you signup as an Octfolio customer, we will create your new client portal. We will need an asset list if you have one. If not that's OK to.

At no point during your contract with us does Octfolio own the data. For all intended purposes Octfolio is simply a location where your information is being hosted.

If the time has come that you want to change software venders, that's ok. We will export all your data into a CSV file so whoever is the new vendor will have an easy job of importing it into their system. We believe in simplicity.

By submitting your email address on this website/app, you agree to receive emails from us. We only send emails to people who have authorized us to contact them, either directly, or through a third party. We do not send unsolicited commercial emails, because we hate spam as much as you do.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep your information only so long as we need it to provide Octfolio to you and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. This is also the case for anyone that we share your information with and who carries out services on our behalf. When we no longer need to use your information and there is no need for us to keep it to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, we remove it from our systems so that we can’t identify you.

How do we protect your information?

However, neither people nor security systems are foolproof, including encryption systems. In addition, people can commit intentional crimes, make mistakes or fail to follow policies. Therefore, while we use reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
